News & Nonprofits: Telling Stories That Matter

We were honored to attend the first-ever News & Nonprofits: Telling Stories That Matter, hosted by the Concord Monitor in partnership with Granite United Way. Nearly 100 nonprofit leaders gathered at NHTI's Sweeney Hall for an engaging discussion on how nonprofits can effectively share their stories, build relationships with local media, and amplify their impact in the community.

The event highlighted the important connection between nonprofits and local journalism, offering valuable insights into what makes a compelling story and how organizations can better engage with the media. We left inspired by the passion in the room and grateful for the opportunity to connect with so many individuals dedicated to making a difference.

Thank you to the Concord Monitor and Granite United Way for creating a space where storytelling, collaboration, and community impact could come together. As a growing nonprofit, Locke's Promise is excited to apply these lessons as we continue raising awareness and support for those affected by Multiple Sclerosis.
