  • Applicants can submit a request through our Mobility & Accessibility Assistance Grant. We review needs, available inventory, and funding capacity. Most awards are under $1,000 and are designed to provide immediate, practical help.

  • We assist with items such as scooters, wheelchairs, walkers, ramps, and other mobility or accessibility tools. When possible, we also refurbish donated equipment to extend its life and impact.

    We also think outside the box to get devices and accessiblity tools the person with MS is interested in as long as it assists in some manner with their disability and making their life easier.

  • We are funded through community donations, grants, sponsorships, fundraising events, and partnerships with local businesses and organizations. Every dollar supports MS assistance, advocacy, and community programming.

  • Yes. Locke’s Promise maintains strong partnerships across the MS care and support community.

    We partner directly with Elliot’s MS Clinic and Philanthropy through our MS Promise Fund, which provides financial assistance for patients receiving care at the Elliot who cannot afford critical needs. Eligible individuals may be recommended for support with expenses such as MRIs, diagnostic testing, or procedures that insurance does not fully cover.

    Locke’s Promise is also part of the New Hampshire Resources Network through the National MS Society (NMSS). We have deep, ongoing connections with NMSS regional teams and collaborate closely on community support, resource navigation, and statewide MS initiatives.

    Beyond New Hampshire, we actively network and work with MS‑focused nonprofits in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut, strengthening regional support and sharing best practices to help people living with MS across New England.
